How do I write down my goals? 3 Ultimate Steps To Keeping Focus On Your Goals Effortlessly

It was a time of enormous learning for me, BUT I knew I had to APPLY my knowledge too.

Or else, what’s the point of learning, right?

Then I noticed that in literally ALL books, they were saying the same thing!

"WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS. NOW."

And I sat there, looking overwhelmed, thinking:

Why? and How? and What is this?

So, I eventually took pen and paper and wrote my goals down.

Okay. So far, so good.

NOW GUESS WHAT?

They don’t tell you what to do after that.

Then, inexperienced as I was, I locked my goal list into my safe. 🤦‍♂️

Of course, this was totally useless since I forgot all about my goals the following day…

Now that this won’t happen to you, I want to give you the RIGHT way to write down and memorize goals:

STEP 1: Write it digitally.

We should stop thinking that a piece of paper will keep our attention on the goals.

Since it’s not the 1800s anymore, we need to put our goals into the places where our attention is RIGHT NOW.

Let’s face it, your phone is the best place for your goals.

You can use pretty much every text writing application out there.

STEP 2: Set review reminders.

Now that you have your goals set, it is vital to KEEP them in mind.

If we really think about the whole reason why we set goals, we’ll see that goals are guides.

They have to be with us to guide us.

An invisible guide is a terrible guide because you can’t see him/her.

That’s why you can set reminders 1, 2 or even 3 times a day that reminds you to read through your goals for a minute.

This will increase the chances your goals will be achieved.

STEP 3: Forget about tracking.

You might think, but isn’t tracking your progress super important?

And I have to say that yes, it is essential, BUT to track, you need to take action.

That’s why taking tracking your goals won’t help you achieve them, because you are just entering data into a document, not taking the time and energy needed to move forward.

Plus, you know where you are at the moment.

Why do you need to inform your goals about that?

They are not your boss…

So, what I am trying to say is, too many entrepreneurs focus on tracking rather than taking action.

Just leave the tracking for later and start doing it.

This will give you the satisfying momentum and flow experience you’ll love.

BONUS STEP: Record yourself reading your goals.

If reading them seems too dull for you, just go to your voice recorder app on your phone and speak them into it.

Now you can listen to it when you wake up, and your eyes are still closed.

Or when you are on the commute.

Or when you are in the gym.

You can make sure you get into the habit of keeping your mind focused on what you really what.

Or drop your email here to join EverGoal, the daily goal-reading app. It is the best way if you want to make lasting change.

I hope that helped you write down your goals!

All the best and as always…

Thank you for focusing 😊
